HOW TO PREPARE CROCKPOT CREAMY MUSHROOM STEAK BITES
PREPARE THE BEEF
Prepare the beef stew meat. Make sure all the pieces are cut into cubes that are about the same size. Season the meat with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat sear the beef in batches. You are not cooking the beef all the way through just browning the outside and transfering the beef to the crockpot. Continue this step until all the beef is browned.
In a glass bowl combine the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, bone broth gravy/brown gravy envelopes, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk all these ingredients together pouring over the beef in the crockpot.
Add the mushrooms, onion, and garlic to the crockpot. Give everything a good stir. Set the crockpot to HIGH (4 hours) or LOW (8-10 hours).
Once the beef is tender; taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper if you think it’s necessary. Serve over egg noodles or garlic mashed potatoes.

HOW TO STORE AND REHEAT LEFTOVERS
Store
How you store cooked beef is important to ensure that it is still good to eat within 3-4 days. You want to place leftover steak bites in the fridge within two hours of cooking. Bacteria can multiply quickly when the meat’s temperatures are in the “Danger Zone,” which is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C). Place the steak bites in a clean, dry, and airtight container, or sealing them in a food-grade plastic zip-top bag will help keep the meat fresh.
Reheat
To reheat leftovers is very easy. You have two options; either using the microwave or the stovetop. The microwave method is to heat in one-minute intervals stirring in between each interval until the steak bites are heated through. And finally the stovetop method; in a saucepan heat the steak bites on low heat stirring frequently until heated through.
