Ingredients

  • 3 Pounds Beef Stew Meat (diced in one-inch bites)
  • 1 Envelope Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 Envelopes Brown Gravy or (Kinder Bone Broth Gravy)
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 (8 oz) Packages Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 5-6 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Large Onion (diced)
  • 2 Cups Beef Broth (or water)
  • Beef Boullion Cubes (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the beef stew meat. Make sure all the pieces are cut into cubes that are about the same size. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat sear the beef in batches. You are not cooking the beef all the way through just browning the outside and transfering the beef to the crockpot. Continue this step until all the beef is browned.
  • In a glass bowl combine the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, bone broth gravy/brown gravy envelopes, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk all these ingredients together and pour over the beef in the crockpot.
  • Add the mushrooms, onion, and garlic to the crockpot. Give everything a good stir. Set the crockpot to HIGH (4 hours) or LOW (8-10 hours).
  • Once the beef is tender taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper if you think it's necessary. Serve over egg noodles or garlic mashed potatoes.
