Asian Flavored Marinate:

  • ½ Cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Garlic (minced)(8 cloves)
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger (fresh)(minced)
  • 1 Tsp Sriracha
  • 2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice (fresh squeezed)
  • ¼ Cup Sesame Oil

Instructions

  • Marinate the Ribs: In a bowl, combine ½ cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 teaspoons minced garlic (around 8 cloves), 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger, 1 teaspoon Sriracha for a bit of heat, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, and the fresh-squeezed juice from 2 limes. Slowly add ¼ cup of sesame oil while whisking the mixture.
  • Place into a zip top bag and refrigerate overnight. But if you are short on time marinate at least 3 hours.
  • Coat the Ribs: Place your boneless country-style ribs in the slow cooker. Pour the Asian-style marinade over the ribs, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Use tongs or your hands to massage the marinade into the meat, allowing the flavors to penetrate.
  • Set the Slow Cooker: Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to the desired cooking time. For tender and flavorful ribs, cook on low for 6 hours on LOW or on high for 3 hours on HIGHs. The slow cooking process allows the ribs to absorb the rich Asian flavors.
