Equipment

  • High Powered Professional Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Ripe Avocado
  • 2 Cups Milk (Choose your Favorite)
  • 2 Banana (frozen)
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tsp Honey or (3) Mejdool Dates (vegan)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Avocado: Cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Place it into a blender.
  • Add the Frozen Bananas: Break the frozen bananas into chunks and add them to the blender with the avocado.
  • Incorporate Cocoa Powder: Add the cocoa powder to the blender. This will give your smoothie its rich chocolate flavor.
  • Introduce Greek Yogurt: Spoon in the Greek yogurt. This will add creaminess and a boost of protein to your smoothie.
  • Pour in the Milk: Pour your preferred milk into the blender. You can use dairy milk, almond milk, soy milk, or any other milk of your choice.
  • Add Sweetener: If you're using honey, add it to the blender for a touch of sweetness. Alternatively, if you prefer a vegan option, you can use Medjool dates for natural sweetness.
  • Include Vanilla Extract: Add the vanilla extract to enhance the flavor profile of your smoothie.
  • Blend Until Smooth: Secure the blender lid and blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency. This should take about 1-2 minutes, depending on the power of your blender.
  • Adjust Consistency (Optional): If your smoothie is too thick, you can add a bit more milk and blend again until you reach your desired consistency. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or any other flavors to your liking. You can add more honey, cocoa powder, or vanilla if desired.
