- 6 Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour (flour to dredge)
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Onion (thinly sliced)
- 8 oz Mushrooms (sliced) (optional ingredient)
- 1 Tsp Garlic (minced)(4 cloves)
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Thyme (fresh or dried)
- Chopped Parsley for garnish optional
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour, shaking off excess.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides and set aside.
In the same skillet, add sliced onions and mushrooms. Sauté until softened.
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom to deglaze the pan.
Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and thyme. Bring to a simmer.
Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover, and simmer until the pork is cooked through.
