Equipment

  • Dutch Oven or Large Sauce Pan

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Brussels Sprouts Fresh(cleaned and chopped)
  • 1 Pound Bacon (pre-cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Bacon Greased(reserved from frying earlier)
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Drizzle Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Pre-cook the bacon until crispy. Let cook on a paper towel and crumble. Set this aside for later.
  • Wash and shred/chop your Brussels Sprouts.
  • Melt the butter and bacon grease in the dutch oven on medium heat.
  • Add the Brussels Sprouts and saute until they begin to soften.
  • Add the bacon to the pan stirring well.
  • Add the parmesan cheese and garlic powder to the pan.
  • Drizzle Balsamic Vinegar and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately.
