- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 1 Onion (Diced)
- 1 Green Pepper (Diced)
- 1 Tbsp Garlic (Minced)
- 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Pepper
- 24 oz Marinara Sauce Jar
- 1 Cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Shredded)
- 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)
- 10 oz Rigatoni Pasta (Any Pasta Can Work)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Place a pot of salted water on the stove to boil. This is to cook the pasta of your choice. I used bow-tie pasta.
While the pasta is cooking. In a large Dutch oven or heavy bottom skillet brown the ground beef. Add the onions, pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the pan. Make sure you drain any excess fat.
Next, add the jar of marinara sauce. Once the pasta is finished cooking, drain the water and add it to your skillet and combine well.
Incorporate the parmesan cheese into the mixture.
Add the ricotta cheese one spoonful at a time, ensure it is spread evenly.
Incorporate half of the mozzarella cheese into the mixture. The remaining half of the mozzarella cheese should be sprinkled on top.
Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low until the cheese is melted. Should only take a few minutes.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
