  • 6 Tilapia Fillets

Butter/Garlic Glaze

  • 6 Tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Thyme (dried)
  • 1 Tsp Oregano (dried)
  • 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • ½ Tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 lemon (sliced thin seeds removed)
  • Red Pepper Flakes (garnish)
  • Fresh Parsley (garnish, chopped)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the Tilapia: Use a paper towel to gently pat the tilapia fillets dry, removing any excess moisture. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and black ground pepper to taste. Place the fillets in a single layer in a baking dish.
  • Make the Butter Garlic Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, dried thyme, dried oregano, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Coat the Tilapia: Spoon the spice-infused butter mixture evenly over each tilapia fillet, making sure they are well coated. Top each fillet with a few thin slices of lemon.
  • Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12 minutes, or until the tilapia is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
