Equipment

  • baking pan

Ingredients

  • 3 Sticks Unsalted Butter (melted and slightly cooled)
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar (packed)
  • ½ Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (whole)
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 3 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Cups Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • Cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
  • 2 Cups Reese's Peanut Butter Candies (topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large 11 x 14 baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl or KitchenAid Mixer, combine the melted, slightly cooled butter with the brown sugar and white sugar. Stir together until well mixed and smooth.
  • Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the 2 whole eggs, 2 egg yolks, and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture. Stir until fully combined and the batter becomes creamy.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Incorporate Dry into Wet: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until a thick cookie dough forms.
  • Mix in Chocolate & Peanut Butter Chips: Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and Reese’s peanut butter chips evenly throughout the dough.
  • Spread the Dough: Spread the dough evenly into the prepared 11 x 14 baking pan, making sure it's smooth and level.
  • Top with Reese’s Pieces: Sprinkle the Reese’s Pieces candies generously over the top, pressing them lightly into the dough.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
