Ingredients

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • cup Sugar Granulated
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Buttermilk
  • 2 ½ tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tbsp White vinegar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 8 cups Cabbage Finely chopped cabbage ( 1 head)
  • 1/4 cup Carrot Shredded( 1 medium carrot)
  • 2 tbsp Onion Minced
  • 1 tsp Celery Seed

Instructions

  • Chop cabbage, carrots, and minced onion into very fine pieces. Or use a pre-chopped bag of coleslaw mix to save time.
  • Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
  • Add the cabbage, carrots, celery seed, and onions and mix well.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
