- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- ⅓ cup Sugar Granulated
- ¼ cup Milk
- ¼ cup Buttermilk
- 2 ½ tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 ½ tbsp White vinegar
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
- 8 cups Cabbage Finely chopped cabbage ( 1 head)
- 1/4 cup Carrot Shredded( 1 medium carrot)
- 2 tbsp Onion Minced
- 1 tsp Celery Seed
Chop cabbage, carrots, and minced onion into very fine pieces. Or use a pre-chopped bag of coleslaw mix to save time.
Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
Add the cabbage, carrots, celery seed, and onions and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
