Honey Garlic Sticky Chicken

Ingredients

  • 8 Pieces Chicken Bone-in or Boneless

Marinate (3-4 Hours or Overnight)

  • 1/2 cup Rice Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Sesame Oil Toasted
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 5 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger Minced
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Garlic Sauce Asian
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Prepare the marinade to combine the white wine vinegar, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, Asian chili garlic sauce, and toasted sesame oil. I use my Cuisinart Mini-Prep food chopper to make the marinade. I find this is the easiest way to go I just dump everything together and push the button and bam it's all combined.
  • Put chicken and marinade in a zip lock back and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Foil line a baking dish (for easy clean up) and the chicken in the baking dish.
  • Pour the remaining marinade into a saucepan and reduce for 10 minutes while the chicken is also in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Pull the pan out of the oven and baste the chicken in the reduced marinade
  • Then place the pan back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Watch it carefully so the chicken doesn't burn and if it darkens too much cover it with a piece of foil for the last few minutes.
