Ingredients

  • 8 Cups Watermelon (fresh)(cubed)
  • 2 Pints Strawberries (fresh)(trimmed)
  • 2 Limes (squeezed)
  • 4 Cups Water (sparkling water)
  • ½ Cup Sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare the Fruit: Place the cubed watermelon and trimmed strawberries in a blender.
  • Blend: Blend the fruit on high until smooth, ensuring there are no large chunks left.
  • Strain: Pour the blended mixture through a fine strainer into a large bowl or pitcher to remove the pulp. Use a spoon to press down on the pulp to extract as much liquid as possible.
  • Combine Ingredients: Add the freshly squeezed lime juice and ½ cup of sugar to the strained juice. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Add Sparkling Water: Slowly pour in the 4 cups of sparkling water, stirring gently to combine.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the agua fresca for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld and to serve it cold.
  • Serve: Pour the chilled agua fresca into glasses over ice, if desired. Garnish with a slice of lime or a strawberry for an extra touch.
  • Enjoy your refreshing Strawberry Watermelon Agua Fresca!
