Waking up to this delicious mango banana smoothie is like having dessert for breakfast. It is one of our favorite smoothies to make when we want a quick healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Mango (frozen)
  • 1 Cup Pineapple (frozen)
  • 2 Bananas (frozen)
  • ½ Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Cup Orange Juice
  • 2 Tsp Honey (optional ingredient)
  • 1 Tbsp Hemp Hearts (optional ingredient)

Instructions

  • Prepare Your Ingredients: Ensure the mango, pineapple, and bananas are frozen. Measure out the Greek yogurt, orange juice, honey (if using), and hemp hearts (if using) so everything is ready for blending.
  • Blend the Frozen Fruits: In a blender, add the 1 cup of frozen mango chunks, 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks, and 2 frozen bananas. Start blending on low to break up the larger pieces.
  • Add Greek Yogurt and Orange Juice: Pour in the ½ cup of Greek yogurt and the 1 cup of orange juice. Blend on medium speed until the mixture starts to become smooth.
  • Sweeten if Desired: Add the 2 tsp of honey if you prefer a sweeter smoothie. Blend again to incorporate the honey fully.
  • Include Optional Hemp Hearts: Sprinkle in the 1 tbsp of hemp hearts if you’d like to boost the nutritional content with some extra protein and omega-3s. Blend briefly to mix them in.
  • Blend Until Smooth: Increase the blender speed to high and blend until the smoothie reaches a creamy consistency with no lumps of fruit remaining.
  • Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture. Enjoy your tropical treat!
