Keto Low Carb Oven Baked Chicken Wings Recipe

These baked chicken wings are coated in a homemade spice rub, and then roasted to crispy perfection. A simple appetizer or meal option that takes minutes to prepare. Chicken wings are tender and totally delicious. I love a good crispy chicken wing, but I don’t love all of the hassle and mess that comes along with deep frying. These baked chicken wings are perfectly crispy and golden brown and loaded with plenty of flavors and don't forget low carb.

Chicken Wings:

  • 2-3 Pounds Chicken Wings (wingette and drumette separated)

Epic Chicken Wing Rub:

  • ½ tbsp Paprika
  • ½ tbsp Onion Powder
  • ½ tbsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Swerve (brown sugar)

  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Mustard Dried
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • ½ tsp Thyme
  • ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 F degrees.  Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • Combine all dry rub ingredients in a small mixing bowl and set aside (double or triple the rub recipe and fill an empty spice bottle and keep it on hand this recipe is also fantastic on chicken legs and thighs).  In a large mixing bowl, add chicken wings and vegetable oil. Toss the wings in the oil to gently coat them. Place them flat on the baking sheet.
  • Use your filled spice bottle with the rub and shake it on the wings or you can sprinkle in about half to 2/3 of the dry rub mixture and use your hands to massage it into all of the chicken wings, coating evenly.
  • Arrange the wings on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
