Roasted Turkey Legs
Let's be honest who really likes to eat the dry breast of a turkey? My favorite parts of the turkey are the legs, wings, and thighs. Roasting the legs, wings, and thighs is a great way to have a small-scale Thanksgiving dinner, or a delicious turkey dinner any time of the year. This easy turkey recipe is so juicy and flavorful and bakes up quickly in the oven.

Large Glass Baking Dish
Wire Baking Rack
Ingredients for Marinade (Overnight)
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 2 Tsp Thyme
- 2 Tsp Rosemary
- 6 Cloves Garlic Fresh (minced)
- 2 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
- ¼ Cup Brown Sugar or Honey
- 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 6 Parts Turkey Legs (Legs, Wings, or Thighs)
Combine all the ingredients for the marinade.
Brush the turkey legs with the marinade generously, put the pieces in a zip-lock bag and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Transfer the turkey to a greased baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil, and place in oven to bake for about 1 hour.
Remove the foil for the last 15 minutes to brown up the skin and baste thoroughly with the turkey juices. Another option is in the last few minutes place under the broiler to crisp up the skin.
Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature. Make sure it reads at least 165 degrees F.
