The recipe contains some of my favorite Asian flavor combinations including sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. These magical ingredients never let us down for salad dressings and marinades.

Prepare Chicken Wings
- 2 lbs. Chicken Wings
- ⅓ cup Flour
- ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt and Black Ground Pepper (to taste)
Prepare Honey Garlic Glaze
- ⅓ Cup Honey
- 2 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Ginger (fresh) (minced)
- 1 Tbsp Garlic (fresh) (minced)
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- ½ Tsp Chili Powder
- ½ Tsp Red Chili Flakes (optional for heat)
Prepare the Chicken Wings: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture for better crisping. In a large bowl, mix the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the wings in the flour mixture until evenly coated. Place the wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Prepare the Honey Garlic Glaze: Make the sauce – In a small saucepan over medium heat, add honey, sesame oil, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, chili powder, and red chili flakes (if using). Stir and bring the mixture to a light simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat.
Coat the Wings and Serve: Place the cooked wings in a large bowl, pour the honey garlic glaze over them, and toss until evenly coated.
Serve immediately: Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired, and enjoy while hot!
